Delete a branch from a repository

You must be a Helix DAM admin or the project admin to delete a branch from a repository.

A repository must contain at least one branch.

The Default branch is the branch that was initially linked to the project and it cannot be deleted.
Delete a branch from a repository if it is no longer needed for the project. The branch still exists in the Helix Core Server and can be relinked to the project if required.

Open the repository to delete the branch from.

Click Manage branches at the top right of the page below your avatar.
The Manage branches pane opens.

Click
and select Delete.The confirmation dialog opens. All paths mapped in the branch will still be available in Helix Core.

Click Delete.
The branch is deleted from the repository.
