Attach files to comments on assets
When you add a comment to an asset, you can now attach files to your comment to help others to understand it. Attachments are displayed below the comment text. You can view and download attachments on a comment.

Lock the 3D model view for a comment
When commenting on 3D models, you can now lock the position of the model view to your comment to show more context for it. Comments on animated 3D assets can also include a specific time stamp on the comment.

Add and manage webhooks in Helix DAM
As a company or project admin, you can now add and manage webhooks directly from the Helix DAM web interface. Webhooks notify external applications and services about actions that occur in Helix DAM.

Release details
Helix DAM is built on top of Helix TeamHub. To install or upgrade Helix DAM, you use the Helix TeamHub packages.
Upgrading is usually a zero-downtime operation and can be performed on a live system. Before upgrading, read the release notes for information about any release-specific upgrade instructions.

Enhancements
- Redesigned asset comments so the Add comment field is always open with all of the comment tools visible and updated the sketch tool icons to improve visibility of the tools.
- Redesigned all the confirmation dialog boxes for actions that cannot be undone. The irreversible action button in the dialog box is now filled in red to make it clear that if you click the button the action cannot be undone.
- Improved FBX rendering detail.
- Added support for Helix Core 2024.1.
- Added support for RHEL 9 and Rocky 9.
- Upgraded Nginx to version 1.26.1.
