View Helix Core Cloud settings and maintenance information

Details about the Helix Core Cloud administrator and Helix Core Server maintenance are displayed in the Helix Core Cloud portal.

To view the admin and maintenance details, in the portal, click Settings in the left navigation bar.

Information is displayed in the following areas.

General

Displays:

  • User email: Email address for the Helix Core Cloud administrator user. To change the email address, contact Perforce Support.

  • Company name: Company name on the Helix Core Cloud subscription. To change the name, enter the new one and click Apply changes. Click Yes to confirm the changes.

Helix Core Server maintenance

Displays information about maintenance for your Helix Core Server instance.

Server maintenance allows for upgrading to the latest Helix Core version or patch. Maintenance occurs on the last Monday of every month from 5:00 pm–9:00 pm PT except for United States public holidays. In the case of a holiday, maintenance will occur the next business day during the same time period.

Information is displayed in the following sections.

Next maintenance window

Indicates if the server has pending changes that will be applied during the next maintenance window. To request that maintenance occurs before the next window, click Start maintenance.

Last maintenance completed

Displays the date that maintenance was last completed by Perforce.

Go to maintenance mode

Displays information about proactively putting the server into maintenance mode. You may want to put the server in maintenance mode if Perforce notified you about a new version or patch that will be applied during your next scheduled maintenance window and you want to upgrade before then. To put the server in maintenance mode, click Start maintenance.

Important

When you click Start maintenance, Helix Core may not be available for up to 4 hours. Do not click Start maintenance during your team's working hours.

Pending updates

Displays pending changes to help you decide if you want to proactively put the server into maintenance mode to update your instance.
