Getting started with Helix Core Cloud for end users

If you are an end user of Helix Core Cloud, install the required software and configure your environment before you start Helix Core. Following is an overview of the steps to complete. Details are included in the help topic links for each step.

1. Download and install P4V.

   To get started, download and install Helix Core Visual Client, which is called P4V for short.

2. Change your password in P4V.

3. Create your first workspace.

   A workspace links a stream to a team member’s device and gives them access to files. Every Helix Core user on your team will create one or more workspaces.

4. Start versioning files.

   Add new files to your workspace to submit to Helix Core Server and edit files already under version control.

5. Optionally install other tools.
