Adding Helix ALM connections
To access Helix ALM issues, requirements, and test cases, you need to add a connection to the Helix ALM project.
1. Choose Tools > Helix ALM Integration > Connections.
The Helix ALM Connections dialog box opens.
2. Click Add.
The Add Connection dialog box opens.
3. Enter a Connection name to help users identify the project.
4. Enter the Server address and Port.
The default port number is 99 on Windows and 1566 on Unix platforms.
If you received a server settings file from your administrator, import it instead of manually entering the information. Click Import, select the XML file and, click Open. The Server address, Server port, and Public key fingerprint fields are automatically populated. The public key provides additional security required to connect to the Helix ALM Server. Contact your administrator for additional help.
5. Click Get Projects to retrieve a list of all projects from the Helix ALM Server.
6. Select a Project.
7. Click OK.
The connection is added.
