Adding users to the Helix ALM License Server
Add users to the license server to provide access to Surround SCM. Users added to the license server are global users and can be shared across Helix ALM products.
1. Start the Helix ALM License Server Admin Utility.
2. Click Global Users.
The Global Users dialog box opens.
3. Click Add and then select Add User.
The Add User dialog box opens.
4. Enter information for the user and assign licenses. See the license server help for information.
5. Click Add to add the user to the Global Users list.
6. Close the Helix ALM License Server Admin Utility.
You are prompted to change the communications and Administrator passwords. We strongly recommend changing these passwords to prevent unauthorized user access.
After global users are added to the license server, you can retrieve them in Surround SCM and then add them to security groups. See
