Surround SCM Registry Utility
Use the Surround SCM Registry Utility to modify settings stored in the local computer's system registry for Surround SCM server applications. You can change the following registry options:
- Surround SCM Server options including setting the server port and directories where temporary files, the server log, and cached files are stored, setting working cache limits, viewing and downloading RSA key information, and enabling retrieved file logging. See Editing Surround SCM Server options.
- Indexing server options including if the indexing server should start automatically, the server port, and directories where indexed content and the indexing server log are stored. See Editing indexing server options.
- Proxy server options including the proxy connection password, master server connection information, and directories where the proxy server log and cache are stored. See Editing proxy server options.
The servers read the registry settings during initialization. If you change any of the registry options, you must stop and restart the servers.
