Edit a Surround SCM user to update the contact information, license type, or username and password. Contact information for LDAP users cannot be edited.

Option Description
Username User's Surround SCM username.
-c Company name and address.
-e Email type and email address. Email types include: Internet or Other.
-f First name.
-h Display online help for the command.
-i License type: floating, named, or none (default). If license is suitenamed or named, enter last four digits of license number.
-l Last name.
-m Middle initials.
-n Notes about user.
-p Phone types and numbers. Phone types include: Work, Fax, Home, Pager, or Mobile.
-t User’s Helix ALM username and password. Default is Surround SCM username and password.
-u New username. Renaming usernames must be enabled on the Helix ALM License Server.
-w Surround SCM password. -w without specifying password prompts to enter a password. Enter -w- to leave password empty.
-y Enter a Surround SCM username and password if you do not want to use the default value. To use single sign-on, enter -y+. If you use an identity provider to authenticate, the provider web page opens if you have not yet authenticated. Authenticate with the provider and then return to the CLI.
-z Enter the Surround SCM Server host computer address and port number if you do not want to use the default value. IPv6 addresses must be in square brackets. If you received a server settings file from your Surround SCM administrator, enter the path to the XML file instead of entering the server connection information.
+u Display output in Unicode (Windows only). Output cannot be sent to a file. If output is enabled for all commands, enter +u- to disable it for this command.
