An administrative user must make sure the Surround SCM Web Server is running before users can log in to Surround SCM Web.
Windows
The Surround SCM Web Server is installed as a Windows service and starts automatically.
Note: If the server is not running or you need to restart it, see the Windows documentation for information about starting a service.
Linux
Enter /usr/bin/surroundscmweb start.
If you need to restart the server, enter /usr/bin/surroundscmweb stop and then restart the server.
