You can replace text in multiple open scripts or all scripts in a workspace. For example, if a control name changes in the application repository, you can update all scripts that interact with the control at the same time.
1. Choose Edit > Replace in Workspace.
The Find and Replace in Workspace dialog box opens.
2. Enter the text to search for in the Find what field. You can enter a text string or use a regular expression for a more flexible search.
3. Enter the text to replace the returned text with in the Replace with field.
4. Select an option from the Look in list. You can search all scripts in the workspace or all open scripts in the Scripts pane.
You can also search the current script, which only finds text in the script displayed in the Scripts pane.
5. Select any Find Options.
6. Click Replace All.
The Replace All Preview dialog box opens.
7. Expand a script to preview the text replacement. Click Expand All to expand all scripts or Collapse All to collapse expanded scripts.
8. Click Apply to replace the text.
You are prompted to confirm the changes.
9. Click Yes.
The text is replaced in the scripts.
