Single sign-on requirements
- The license server must be running on Windows as a service in an Active Directory (AD) domain.
- By default, the server computer Local System account is used to run the license server application. If a different user runs the application, the user must be a trusted delegate in the AD domain.
- Users can use single sign-on for the following Helix ALM client applications. Client and server applications can run on any of the supported platforms.

- Helix ALM client applications must run in the same AD domain as the license server or in a subdomain as part of the Windows forest (group of domain trees).
- Helix ALM and the license server must be hosted by an IIS web server with Windows Integrated Authentication enabled. See Configuring Microsoft IIS for single sign-on from Helix ALM web clients.
