Upgrading the Perforce ALM Jenkins Plugin

Upgrade the Perforce ALM Jenkins Plugin from the Jenkins Plugin Manager when a new version is available.

1.Go to the Dashboard in the Jenkins instance to use with Perforce ALM.

2. Click Manage Jenkins.

3. Click Manage Plugins.

4. Click Updates.

If updates are available for the plugin, Perforce ALM Test Management is displayed in the list.

5. Select the check box next to Perforce ALM Test Management.

6. Click Download now and install after restart.

7. Restart Jenkins.

The plugin is upgraded.

Upgrading the manually installed plugin version 1.0.5

If you manually installed Perforce ALM Jenkins Plugin version 1.0.5 , you need to install an updated plugin from the Jenkins Plugin Manager and then uninstall the 1.0.5 plugin from Jenkins. After following these steps, you can always upgrade the plugin from the Jenkins Manager.

1.Go to the Dashboard in the Jenkins instance to use with ALM.

2. Click Manage Jenkins.

3. Click Manage Plugins.

4. Click Available.

5. Search for 'Perforce ALM'.

6. Find Perforce ALM Test Management and select the check box in the Install column.

The plugin is installed and enabled in the Jenkins instance.

7. Click Installed plugins.

You will see two Perforce ALM Jenkins Plugin versions installed: version 1.0.5 and the version you installed from the Jenkins Plugin Manager.

8. Click the red X next to version 1.0.5 of the plugin to uninstall it.

9. Restart Jenkins.
