Update the Perforce ALM for Jira app for Jira Cloud

If you use Perforce ALM 2026.2 or later and version 1 or 2 of the Perforce ALM for Jira app with Jira Cloud, to continue using the app, a Jira site administrator needs to update it to version 3 or later.

App versions 1 and 2 will reach end of support by Atlassian in 2026. You can continue to use these versions until Atlassian ends support or update the app to use the current version (version 3 or later). To upgrade to the current version, follow the instructions on this page. The new app version can be purchased from the Atlassian Marketplace. Payment is handled through your Atlassian account.

1. In the Jira administration area, go to Connected apps.

2. On the Connected apps page, find Perforce ALM for Jira . If an update is required, an UPDATE badge is displayed next to the app listing.

3. Click View app details.

4. On the Perforce ALM for Jira page, find the Version field. An OUTDATED badge is displayed if you need to upgrade the app.

5. Click Update.

6. In the Update to the latest version dialog, review the permissions and data management changes from the old version of the app to the new version.

7. Click Accept & Update.

The update starts. It takes a few minutes. When it is complete, the Version badge updates to UP TO DATE.

8. On the Connected apps page, click ... and select Configure.

9. On the Perforce ALM for Jira Configuration page, check the connection settings and make any changes. To learn more, see Update the Perforce ALM for Jira app configuration.
