Configuration
Helix ALM is highly configurable. Administrators can configure the project for your entire team. You can also configure options to control how Helix ALM works for you.
Project configuration
Before users start working in a Helix ALM project, the administrator needs to configure it to support your team's terminology and methodology. If you use multiple projects, each one can have different configurations.
See Configuring projects for more information.
User configuration
You can set user and local options to personalize Helix ALM so you can work more efficiently.
- User options control how information is displayed and how you are notified about changes. For example, you can change how names and assignment information are displayed, edit and delete list window views, and change spell check settings. You can also configure notifications to receive email when items change. User options apply to any computer you use Helix ALM on. See Setting user options.
- Local options control login behavior, applications used to view file attachments, stylesheets used when printing from list windows, and more. Local options apply only on the current computer. See Setting local options.
