Opening items in Microsoft Excel
You can open items and requirements in Microsoft Excel to provide information to stakeholders who do not have access to Helix ALM.
1. Display the columns or requirement documents to show in Excel.
2. Select the items or requirement documents to open in Excel. When opening requirement documents, only the selected requirements within the requirement document are opened in Excel. When there are no selected requirements or the requirement document is the only item selected within the Specification Document window, then all the requirements within the requirement document are opened in Excel.
To select more than one item, Ctrl+click each item.
3. Choose Activities > Open in Microsoft Excel.
Excel starts and the information is added to a new worksheet. If you are working on Windows, Helix ALM Web links for the items are also added.
