Regenerating source control provider keys

Regenerate a source control provider key if you suspect it was compromised because of unauthorized access.

If you regenerate a provider key, you must update the key in any integration scripts or webhooks that providers require.

1. Choose Tools > Administration > Source Control Providers.

The Source Control Providers dialog box opens.

2. Select the provider to regenerate a key for.

3. Click Regenerate.

The provider key is regenerated.

4. Click OK to save the changes.

5. Update the key in any integration scripts or webhooks for the provider. See Creating hook scripts for Git integration and Adding Helix ALM webhooks to GitHub.
