About the Helix ALM Registry Utility
Use the Helix ALM Registry Utility to modify Helix ALM Server and CGI settings that are stored in the local computer's system registry.
The server reads the registry settings during startup. If you change server options, you must stop and restart the server before the registry changes take effect. See Editing Helix ALM Server options.
CGI option changes are immediately picked up by the affected CGI. CGI applications start and stop every time a web browser submits a command. Registry option changes are read by the CGI next time the browser submits a command, such as when a user clicks a button. See Editing CGI options.
See Linux Configuration Variable Values for a list of all variables used with Helix ALM on Linux.
