Changing your password

If your password expires, you are prompted to change it when you log in. You may also be able to change your password if you do not use single sign-on.

You may be able to request a password reset if you forget your password. Click Forgot Password? when you are trying to log in. See Starting Helix ALM.
Active Directory and LDAP users cannot change their passwords in Helix ALM. Passwords must be changed in Active Directory/LDAP. Ask your administrator for help.

1. Choose Tools > Change Password.

The Change Password dialog box opens.

2. Enter your current password and click OK.

You are prompted to enter a new password.

3. Enter a new password and click OK.

You are prompted to confirm the new password.

4. Re-enter the password and click OK.

The password is changed.
