Adding test run sets
A test run set is a group of related test runs. When you submit builds to Helix ALM, or generate manual test runs, you can add them to a test run set. When testing multiple builds in parallel, test run sets allow you to report on each test initiative and determine the current status.
When deciding on the test run sets to create, consider how you want to view information in reports to monitor progress. Think about the information you will need at the end of each phase to determine if you are ready to move on to the next phase. Refer to the schedule in the test plan and create a test run set for each milestone and then create any additional sets that are needed.
To add a test run set, add the name to use for the test run set to the Run Set value list, which already exists in Helix ALM.
Note: Test run sets can be used for both automated and manual tests.
