Setting automated testing compliance project options

You can enable detailed audit trail logging to meet compliance requirements when unprotecting or manually deleting automation builds in a project.

1. Choose Tools > Administration > Project Options.

The Project Options dialog box opens.

2. Select Automated Testing from the Compliance category.

3. Select Enable detailed audit trail logging for unprotecting or manually deleting builds to enable audit trail logging for unprotecting or manually deleting builds. Automatic deletion of builds is not logged in the audit trail.

When this option is enabled, the date and time the action occurred is stored and logged in the audit trail. The audit log is stored in its own project table in the database and contains changed values. See Managing audit trails.

4. Click OK to save the changes.
