General security commands

The following commands provide access to Helix ALM clients and commonly used features.

Keep in mind that the navigation for accessing commands in the Helix ALM web client is different than the desktop client, but command security enabled in the desktop client applies to the same commands in the web client.

Edit Own Notifications Notifications category in the User Options dialog box (Tools > User Options) Lets users edit their own email notifications only.
Modify Own General User Settings General category in the User Options dialog box (Tools > User Options) Lets users edit own Dictionary, Spell Check, and Notifications user options only.
Allow Login Via Helix ALM Client Log in to the project using the Helix ALM Client  
Allow Login Via Helix ALM Web Log in to the project using Helix ALM web clients  
Allow Login Via Add-In DLL Log in to the project using the Visual Studio add-in  
Allow Login Via SOAP Log in to the project using the SOAP-based SDK or REST API

Change Own List Columns Add and remove columns in list windows and the Specification Document window  
Allow Spell Checking Edit > Spell Check

Requires the See Email Tab command to view email. Field-level security is enforced on the Overview tab.

Allow Inline Editing in List Windows Edit > Edit Inline when an item is selected in the Issues, Folders, Requirements, Requirement Documents, Test Cases, and Manual Test Runs list windows
