Accessing the Helix ALM Server Web Admin Utility
The Helix ALM License Server and Helix ALM Server must be running before logging in to the Helix ALM Server Admin Utility.
1. Start a web browser and enter the server admin utility URL.
The URL includes the name or IP address of the web server that hosts the server admin utility and the path to the login page. For example, http://www.yourserver.com/ttweb/ttadmin/adminlogin.htm.
The Login to Helix ALM Server Admin dialog box should automatically open in a new browser window. If it does not, click Go To Login on the Welcome page.
2. Select the Server to connect to.
This field is only available if the web server is configured to connect to multiple Helix ALM Servers.
3. Enter a Username and Password. You do not need to enter a password if you authenticate using an identity provider, such as Okta.
Note: A default administrative user is created during installation. Log in as this user the first time you start the server admin utility. The username is Administrator and there is no password. To prevent unauthorized access, create a password for this user.
4. Click Login.
The Helix ALM Server Admin Main page opens.
If you use an identity provider to authenticate, you are prompted to log in using your provider. Click Login again. The provider web page opens. Authenticate with the provider and then return to Helix ALM.
Note: You cannot use or upgrade TestTrack 2011.1 or earlier server databases in Helix ALM or TestTrack 2016 - 2016.1. You must upgrade these databases to TestTrack 2015.1 first or configure the server to use a different database that is upgraded to a supported version. Contact Perforce Support for help.
