Traditional Template sample project: Automation suites

Use Helix ALM automation suites to define a group of related automated tests that run together. You can add suites based on functional area, specific testing type, or any logical organization that supports your testing needs.

An automation suite contains:

• Details about the group of tests.
• Test cases related to the automated tests.
• Builds and automated test results.
• Run configurations, which are used to run builds in Jenkins from Helix ALM.

The Traditional Template project includes the following automation suites.

Suite name	Use to group test cases, and view builds and automated test results for:
Alpha Tests	Tests performed during the Alpha phase of product development.
Final Release Tests	Tests performed before the final release of a product.
Regression Tests	Regression tests performed on a product.
Smoke Tests	Smoke tests performed on a product.
