Configuring Jenkins integration for automated testing

To manually run Jenkins projects from automation suites in Helix ALM, you need to configure a connection to the Jenkins project that contains the automated tests.

You can only run suites from the Helix ALM web client. See Running automation suites in the web client user guide for information about running suites.

Note:  To work with Jenkins configurations, you must be logged in to test case management and be in a security group with the Configure Jenkins Integration command enabled. Contact your administrator for additional help.

1.Choose Tools > Administration > Jenkins Integration.

The Jenkins Integration dialog box opens.

2. Click Add to add a configuration for a Jenkins project. See Adding Jenkins configurations.

3. To edit a configuration, select it and click Edit. See Editing Jenkins configurations.

Tip:  To search for a configuration, enter the name in the search field and press Enter. Click X to clear the search criteria.

4. To delete a configuration, select it and click Delete. See Deleting Jenkins configurations.

5. Click Close when you finish.
