Creating text file import templates

If you import text files with the mappings often, save the format as a text import template.

1. Map the fields in the Text File Import Preview dialog box. See Importing text files.

2. Click Save As Template in the Import Options area.

The template (TextImportTemplate.itm) downloads.

You can load the template next time you import and need to use the same mappings.
