Setting notification project options
You can select the email templates to use when notifying users about changes to items they are watching. You can also configure Helix ALM to automatically email users when issues they submitted are closed.
1. Choose Tools > Administration > Project Options.
The Project Options dialog box opens.
2. Select Notifications from the Email category.
3. Select Watched Item Email Templates to use when emailing users about changes to items they are watching. See Watching issues to be notified about changes.
4. Select any Closed Issue Notifications options.
- Email issue submitters when the issue is closed emails information about the change to the issue submitters. Select the user type to email. If an issue has multiple reported by records, email is sent to each submitter.
- Do not send email if issue is added in a closed state prevents emailing submitters about issues added in a closed workflow state.
- Select an Email template to use for the notification. See Customizing email templates for information about previewing, editing, and adding templates.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
