Library Colors Not Updating

Why is color of my library blue (not red) even though another user has changed it since my last update?

Another user made an edit to a VersIC managed library in my library manager, but the library did not change color for me, even after refreshing the view.
What needs to be done to have the Library Manager updated?
 

The short answer is that the color of the library will not change dynamically.

The color of the library reflects the status of the library with respect to the repository, but the status will not change until the "Stale Data Check" is run. This runs every 30 minutes (by default) in an active Cadence session and only prompts if the user has a cellView open that has changed in the repository.

If the user lets the update take place, then the color of the library will still be blue because the library will now be up-to-date.

If the user decides NOT to update, the library will change color to red as it is known to be out-of-date.

The reason the color of the library changes when Virtuoso is restarted is that VersIC checks the library status upon startup and so will show the out-of-date library as red.
