System verification for migrating to IPLM Core 2024.1

Use the locally installed IPLM Client to interact with the newly migrated database.

  1. Change the MDX_PI_SERVER variable to reference the new test system just brought online.

  2. Verify that the version information is correct: 

    Copy 
    $ pi version
    PiServer version : 2024.1.0
    PiClient version : 2024.1.0

  3. Install the new license file:

    Copy 
    $ pi login admin  <enter your admin password>
    $ pi license load <licenseFile>

  4. Run the following commands to confirm the system is up and running:

    • pi login

    • pi lib ls

    • pi ip ls
