Personal options categories

Appearance

Set options for language, date format, theme, and other visual features.

Editing

Set options for how Hansoft handles inserting new items, copying and pasting data, entering dates, and showing line breaks in user stories in lists.

Agile and Scheduling

Set options for the Agile and Scheduling modes.

  • Show activity number in the leftmost column displays each item's absolute position in the hierarchy.
  • Highlight tasks on Critical path highlights tasks in the timeline that, if delayed, will affect the finish date of other tasks. In the timeline, shaded areas indicate weekends, which is why Ex Task 1 and Ex task 2 retain their critical dependency.

Documents

Specify where to store local copies of documents from the Hansoft server and select an application to use when comparing files.

Chat

Set options for playing sounds when you receive chat messages, how to dock chats, and how to display message counts in the app badge.

Email notifications

Set options to automatically watch items and receive email notifications when you create an item, comment on an item, or if anyone assigns an item to you.

General

Reset your personal options to use the default options and enable auto find.

Changing your avatar

To make it easier to tell users apart, and add a bit of personal flair, users can be associated with an avatar, to be displayed in chats and news feed entries. This can be done either by the administrator, or, if given permission, by the users themselves.

To set an avatar, click your username and choose Change my avatar.
