Deleting users

You can delete a user if they no longer use Hansoft. You can delete the user's account and save any assignments and history related to the user, or delete the account and all related information permanently.

Note:   Deleted users do not use a license.

1. Click Admin.

The Admin area opens.

2. Click Users.

The Users list opens.

3. Select the user to delete.

4. Choose More and select Delete.

The Delete user accounts dialog box opens.

5. Select an option for deleting the user.

You can delete the user, but save assignments and history for the deleted user, or delete the account and all related information. This action cannot be undone.

  • Delete user accounts but save assignments and history deletes the user, but saves the user assignment and history information. The user can be restored if needed. See Undeleting users.
  • Delete user accounts deletes the user and all related information. The user account and all references in projects where the user has planned tasks are deleted. The user cannot be restored. Keep in mind any issues that may occur related to the Hansoft SDK or integration if you permanently delete the user.

6. Click OK.

The user is deleted.
