Using the backlog virtual board

The Wall view presents the backlog as a virtual board, designed to simulate a physical board often used in Agile projects.

The board can be customised to sort and display the backlog using the drop-down menus in the toolbar. The Columns and Lanes menus enable you to choose which columns to use to organise the board. The Settings menu contains several options for which information to display.

Every member of a project can view the board. If you have the required permissions, you also have the following options:

• New backlog item - Clicking this creates a new blank backlog item at the current selection.
• Break down - Selecting an item in the list and clicking this will create a sub-item.
• Commit to - Right-click an item and hover over this option to see a list of sprints. Select one to commit the item to that sprint.
