The Helix Plan Web Client Now Has the Helix Plan API as its Foundation
Increase flexibility and optimize processes with an all-in-one API and Web Client
The Helix Plan API, based on GraphQL, is now the foundation of the Helix Plan Web Client. With the web client and API now merged into one service, users will experience a simplified architecture and increased efficiency. This change also gives web client users the following abilities:
- More flexible configuration of Nginx for system administrators.
- User Administrator access to the Web Client.
For users who run their applications in a dockerized development environment, the new service is also provided as a Docker container.
Develop customized integrations and automations with expanded API capabilities
As the new foundation for the Helix Plan Web Client, the Helix Plan API has been expanded with the following capabilities for your collaborators:
- Ability to edit all default and custom columns
- Ability to fetch attachments and avatars
- Update items in the planning view (Releases, Scheduled Tasks, Sprints)
- Add, remove, and edit links
- Full support for commenting system
- Subscribe for real-time updates of:
- Dashboards and chart data
- Assignments
- Deleted items
- Field updates
- Project memberships
- Workflow updates
- To-Do List
- Comments
- Ability to configure the following:
- To-do list
- Active columns
- Board columns and lanes
- Charts
- Comments
- User’s projects
