Showing last updated information on dashboard charts and item views
Helix Plan dashboards use a priority system to make sure the most important charts and item views are continuously updated. Chart or item view owners can choose to show the last updated information on a chart or item view so all users can see it.
To display the last updated information on a chart, mouse over the chart or item view, click , and select Show last updated on.
If this option is enabled, the chart or item view displays one of the following values.
Value | Meaning |
---|---|
Up to date | The chart or item view data was just calculated and refreshed. |
Last updated # seconds/minutes ago | If a chart or item view needs to be recalculated because of a configuration change, a data input change, a refresh by a user, or a refresh based on time, the Helix Plan server puts it in a queue for recalculation. The last updated time is displayed when the chart is in the queue. |
Not calculated | The chart or item view is waiting for its first calculation. This can happen when you clone a chart or item view. |
Downloading results | The Helix Plan server is done calculating the chart or item view data, but results are still being sent to the client. Larger charts, slow internet connections, or other project data being sent can cause this. |
