Viewing the news feed
The news feed is a live stream of activity from Helix Plan projects. You can view the news feed from the To Do List. See Using the To Do List.
By default, the news feed includes all activity (e.g., new and changed tasks, comments, priority changes, etc.) for all projects you are a member of and in any sprints/iterations you are allocated to. You can control the information displayedin the news feed.
1. Click To Do List.
The To Do List opens and the news feed is displayed on the right side.
2. To customize the information displayed or position of the news feed, click one of the following buttons in the New feed pane.

Open the news feed in a separate window. Click X to close the window and view the news feed in same windows as the To Do List. | |

Filtering information displayed in the news feed
1.Click in the News feed pane.
The Filter news feed dialog box opens.
2. Choose any Filter incoming news options to filter the activity displayed in the news feed based on your assigned items, your sprint/iteration allocations, specific users, or specific projects.
- Select Exclude sprints/iterations I am not a member of to only display activity for sprints or iterations you are allocated to.
- Select Only on items I am assigned to only display activity for items assigned to you.
- Click Only from these users to select specific users to display activity from. The Only from these users dialog box opens. Select a user in the Available list and click > to move them to the Selected list. You can also search for users.
- Click Only from these projects to select specific projects to display activity from. The Only from these projects dialog box opens. Select a project in the Available list and click > to move it to the Selected list. You can also search for projects.
3. Select or clear any Include news types options to specify the type of activity to display.
4. Click OK to save the changes.
