Before users can work with dashboards, an administrator must provide access. Administrators can also enable dashboard page sharing.
1. Click Admin.
The Admin area opens.
2. Click Users.
The Users list opens.
3. Select a user.
4. To give the user access to work with dashboards, select Dashboards access in the Profile settings area.
5. To let users to share dashboard pages with others, select Can share dashboard pages.
Dashboard chart data is calculated using the permissions of the chart owner. This allows managers to share information with other team members who do not have access to items included in the chart. This option lets you limit who can make information available to others with more restricted permissions.
