Administrators can convert a project user group to a global group so it can be used to provide access to multiple projects in the Helix Plan database.
You cannot convert a global group to a project group. You can clone a global group and update the new group to be a project group. See Cloning user groups.
1. Click Admin.
The Admin area opens.
2. Click Groups.
The Groups list opens.
3. Select the project group to convert and click Edit.
The Edit group dialog box opens.
4. Select (Global group) in the Project list.
5. Click OK.
You are prompted to confirm the conversion. The action cannot be undone.
6. Click Yes.
The group is converted to a global group.
