The Product backlog contains a list of items that are pending or in progress, such as requirements, bugs, enhancements, feature requests, or tasks. This view enables you to refine, prioritise, and estimate the work that needs to be done. You are also able to commit items to sprints and delegate them to users and user groups.
You can choose three different ways of viewing the backlog, which contain the same items and information:
- Hierarchy - See Managing the hierarchy of backlog items.
- Priority - See Setting the priority on backlog items.
- Wall - See Viewing the backlog as a virtual board.
You can switch between different views by clicking the tab in the top-left of the toolbar. The tab will always display the currently selected view mode.
You can also configure the backlog to use custom columns based on your needs. See Configuring project columns.
