Configuring Jira authentication in Helix Plan
Helix Plan needs information about the Jira user you created for the integration.
1. In Helix Plan, go to the Planning view in the project to integrate with Jira.
2. Choose More > Customize project integration settings.
The Project Integration Settings dialog box opens.
3. Select the Jira project settings category.
4. Enter the Jira login information.
- Jira host—URL for the Jira server the integration should connect to. Must start with http:// or https://. For example, https://example.atlassian.net or http://mylocaljira:1080.
- Jira admin user—Username for the Jira admin user you created for the integration.
- Jira admin password—API token for the user specified in the Jira admin user field. See the Atlassian help for information about creating API tokens.
5. Select Automatically create Helix Plan URL field in Jira to automatically add the Helix Plan URL field to all pages in the Jira server/instance. If you do not want this field on all pages in Jira, you can manually add the field to the project where you want to use it. You need to manually add the field if you are using a Jira next-gen project. SeeManually adding the Helix Plan URL field in Jira.
6. Click OK to save the changes.
