Running Reports

You can run reports to analyze project data. You can view information about selected items from item lists and folders. You can also run reports configured in the project from the Reports list. You can print or save reports for future reference.

Note:  Before running a report, you may want to get familiar with the content each report type includes. See Report types.

Running reports on specific items or folders

You can run reports that include information about selected items from item lists or folders. The report formatting and content depends on the stylesheet you select when you run the report.

1. To run a report on one item, open it or select it in the item list.

To run a report on multiple items, select them in the item list.

2. Click the Reports button and choose a report. If you are working in the Folders list, click Actions and choose a report in the Run Report list. The available reports depend on the item type and security permissions. The report names correspond to the available stylesheets, which determine the report content formatting. See Report Stylesheets.
